Daily Jam Welcomes Nick Pham to the Tempe Team

Daily Jam proudly announces that Nick Pham has joined the leadership team as general manager of the brand’s location on Mill Avenue in Tempe, AZ.

Nick brings over two decades of experience in the restaurant industry. No stranger to hard work, Nick started as a dishwasher in a small restaurant in his hometown. Enamored by the fast-paced environment, he knew he wanted to learn more about this world. He began working under chef Nick Jaggi. As Nick worked his way up to line cook, then sous chef, his passion for working with food continued to develop.

Nick was so inspired by his early restaurant days that he decided to study Hospitality Management when it came time for college. After graduating from Michigan State, Nick was recruited to start as a service manager with Yard House. Over the next several years, Nick was promoted to bar manager, then executive chef, and eventually general manager.

Over his tenure in the industry, he has managed restaurants of various sizes, from highly profitable to underperforming stores, where his strong leadership helped significantly improve performance. He credits his successes to hard work and doing the right thing when no one is looking.

Nick’s path has helped him understand the daily operational side of the industry along with the business side. While Nick’s wealth of experience will help him strengthen Daily Jam’s operational models, he remains humble and ready to step into his new role with a beginner’s mindset. “There’s a lot to learn from the current team at Daily Jam, and that is my priority as I join the team,” shared Nick.

“The potential for our growth at Daily Jam is unlimited. We will continue to optimize our in-store operations to serve as a model for other franchise locations,” said Nick.

In addition to Nick’s enthusiasm for the growth potential of Daily Jam, he is grateful for the more balanced approach this opportunity allows him. “The restaurant industry tends to mean long hours and late nights. I’m grateful that as a brunch-focused concept, Daily Jam will allow me to have more evenings at home with my wife and daughters,” he explained.
