Daily Jam President Berekk Blackwell was featured in a recent Q&A series with Authority Magazine discussing the “Five Things You Need To Be A Highly Effective Leader During Turbulent Times.”
Authority Magazine features leadership lessons from authorities in business, film, sports and tech. Through a Q&A format, Blackwell shared leadership advice based on his experiences, including the best way to communicate difficult news to one’s team and customers and how a leader can make plans for the future.
For the main focus of the discussion, Blackwell shared how he leads the Daily Jam team during uncertain or difficult times, and he explained the five most important things a business leader should do to lead effectively. One element that Blackwell emphasized is self-awareness.
“Understanding when a company or project needs adjustment, a strong leader will be able to roll with the punches when things are not going according to plan or the circumstances have changed,” says Blackwell. “On the flip side, that self-awareness also creates an understanding of when a project is taking off and is successful.”
