Punta Gorda, FL March 10, 2017: Scotty’s Brewhouse, a popular Indianapolis-based restaurant concept known for being a “family-friendly” sports bar featuring craft beer, burgers and dill chips, opened this past summer in Punta Gorda, Florida. Located at 1200 W. Retta Esplanade inside Fisherman’s Village, this restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating as well as a 200-seat public area on the water. Inside Scotty’s Brewhouse you will find over 50 TVs plus 30 beers on tap featuring local craft beer. The outdoor cabana bar includes 15 additional TV’s and 10 additional beers on tap.
“For the last few years we have been looking for the right opportunity to open outside the state of Indiana,” said Scott Wise, founder of Scotty’s Brewhouse. “When we saw this location we knew it was the perfect place to start our nationwide expansion.”
Scotty’s Brewhouse, located in the Village Oyster Bar’s previous location opens daily at 11am. The restaurant offers dozens of custom burgers, including their popular Shewman burger topped with peanut butter, cheddar cheese, jalapenos and bacon as well as their unique Burgers of the Month. Scotty’s also takes advantage of the local seafood market, offering fresh mahi-mahi, grouper and shrimp dishes.
“We have been extremely happy how the guests in Florida have embraced the Scotty’s concept and look forward to expanding the brand throughout the state in the coming years,” concluded Wise.
This Scotty’s Brewhouse is operated under a management agreement. Under the terms of the management agreement the real estate property owner contributed the full buildout of the restaurant, the furniture, fixture and equipment package and pre-opening costs. The property owner then receives a premium rent, along with all net profits net of management fees to Scotty’s Brewhouse.
