Sirius Day Spa Opens First Arizona Location

In News by Ralph Roberts

Sirius Day Spa has opened the doors to its first Arizona location this month at the Shops Gainey Village, which is located on the southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Doubletree Ranch Road (8877 N. Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, 85258).

Unlike other day spa/health and beauty concepts, Sirius Day Spa offers its members and non-member customers a comprehensive array of services under one roof, providing today’s consumer with what they are looking for: ease of use, convenience and affordability. Those services include massage therapy, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, eyelash extensions, microdermabrasion, infrared and mud wraps, resurfacing micro-peels, hair blow outs, teeth whitening and much more. Another highlight of the spa is the Serenity Lounge which is a dedicated meditation room that includes complimentary hot teas, luxurious massage lounge chairs and the Mindful Meditation series featuring the Deepak Chopra Dreamweaver.

The Sirius Day Spa brand plans to not only change the way people enjoy services, it is also focused on disrupting the antiquated membership structure currently offered to consumers at single-service providers. Instead of “banking” services monthly by paying a membership fee and ending up with more single-services than anyone can ever consume, Sirius Day Spa offers their members an extensive list of services and enhancements they can apply their monthly membership fee to. There is also a family membership model where benefits from the monthly membership fee can be shared across the household.

Memberships range from $59 to $89 per month which provides dollar-for-dollar credit on any of over 40 services every month. While customers don’t need to be a member to enjoy spa services, the benefits of membership include at least 30% discount off the regular rate for services. In addition, there are no long-term contract obligations, monthly credits roll over and much more.

The Gainey Village location is owned and operated by a group who brings franchise, day spa and business expertise and experience: Stacy Iredell, who owned and operated a portfolio of successful Massage Envy and European Wax Center stores in Arizona and California; Rob Harris, a seasoned Arizona businessman who is also involved with restaurant ownership, real estate development and formerly was an executive with the Phoenix Suns; and John Fechter who brings a vast history of building small businesses from the ground up and founder of a local private equity investment firm.

“We’re excited to be the team that brings the Sirius Day Spa brand to Scottsdale,” said Iredell. “It’s been thrilling to see the level of community interest that’s occurred in just the few days we’ve been open.”

The Gainey Village location is the first of what is expected to be more than 20 spas statewide over the next five years.
