MADabolic Alexandria Now Open

In MADabolic, News by Al Mendoza

MADabolic, the industry’s first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, has opened the doors to its third location in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area. Located on the north side of Old Town Alexandria (VA), the studio will operate under owner Corbin Jennings. Jennings’ existing studios are located in Clarendon (Arlington) and D.C.’s H Street corridor. Following the Alexandria opening, Jennings will remain hard at work, with six more studios to come to the metro area in the coming years, including the Dupont Circle (D.C.) location set to open later this month. Jennings’ expansion efforts build a portfolio of nine total DMV locations. MADabolic offers an interval-based strength training program that uniquely prioritizes strength, structure, and accountability.

The Alexandria studio, located at 704 North Washington Street, brings a unique take on group fitness to the neighborhood. “We have strong brand equity in Northern Virginia with our original studio in Clarendon having been open for over five years now,” shared Jennings. “With the demographics of the Old Town area, Alexandria has the potential to be one of our strongest studios in the DMV.”

Working to open multiple studios simultaneously while starting the search for his additional future locations has involved a lot of moving pieces. Jennings has been grateful for the experience under his belt as a long-term owner in the MADabolic franchise system and the strong team of trainers he has supporting the studios. “One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been watching our trainers grow over the years,” shared Jennings. “And I’m grateful we have such an experienced team we can promote to Lead Trainer and General Manager roles at our new studios. They have grown to become experts in the field, and they deliver MADabolic’s excellent programming in a way that helps our clients continue to grow and progress. That shows in the strong retention rates we’ve seen in our member base, which helped us undertake this expansion effort across the area.”

MADabolic’s distinctive training system is uniquely focused on strength as its base and is crafted entirely around work-to-rest ratios. Further, MADabolic emphasizes quality trainers who can provide one-on-one coaching, helping clients move safely and progressively. The concept’s programming offers clients a training system that commands a comprehensive approach to strength training and aging athletically.

To celebrate the opening, the MADabolic DMV team is hosting a “Free Week of MADness” for new clients. For more information on MADabolic Alexandria’s class schedule and membership options, visit https://www.madabolic.com/location/Alexandria

In addition to a world-class strength-focused training program, MADabolic is known for providing an excellent franchise partnership opportunity. The concept’s approach to franchising blends proven systems, robust training, and extensive resources for owners with a unique-to-the-industry human element, setting franchise owners up for success.

The new studio in Alexandria comes as MADabolic wraps up a busy December, with new agreements signed to bring the concept to St. Petersburg (FL) and McAllen (TX), a location locked in for its first New York studio in Brooklyn, and a new studio open in Charlottesville (VA). MADabolic has over 50 studios operating or in development and continues to seek qualified franchise candidates; ideal MADabolic franchisees are driven and passionate individuals that members can look up to as role models, ranging from former elite-caliber athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts.
