MADabolic, the first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, announces its first location in New York will open at 211 North 11th Street in Brooklyn. Located in the borough’s Williamsburg neighborhood, the studio will operate under owner Brian Rekuc.

Brian grew up an all-sport athlete and has long been passionate about health and fitness. “I’ve tried every fitness brand out there, and this is the only concept I’ve ever experienced that has lasting power to keep clients challenged and growing over the long haul,” shared Brian. “MADabolic offers a sustainable and comprehensive lifestyle approach while treating strength as its base.”

MADabolic Brooklyn is set to open by mid-2022. The gym is located near McCarren Park in a building formerly used as an artist’s studio space. Class sizes will be capped at 20, allowing maximum one-on-one coaching in a group training environment.

“MADabolic knows how to stay in its lane and be great at strength-focused training,” explained Brian. “The way MAD goes against the grain relative to other fitness concepts parallels the culture in Williamsburg. Our clients will appreciate the expertise behind the programming and the quality that stems from staying true to what makes MADabolic great.”

“NYC has always been a bucket-list item for me. Brooklyn is a statement and represents a new chapter as we continue to expand into symbolic markets across the country,” said Brandon Cullen, MADabolic’s Co-Founder and Chief Concept Officer. “Brian’s passion for the qualities that set MADabolic apart will help him grow a strong base of clients who appreciate a high-quality training program that values strength and consistency.”

Rooted in science, MADabolic’s distinctive fat-torching intervals are crafted around intentional work-to-rest ratios, offering a challenging yet scalable training system focused on helping clients age athletically.

MADabolic’s uniquely purposeful approach delivers unmatched results and provides a strong franchise investment opportunity. With 50 studios operating or in development, the brand continues to seek qualified franchise prospects.
