MADabolic, the industry’s first and only strength-driven interval training franchise, has opened the doors to its fourth studio in the Washington, D.C. metro. Located in the city’s historic Dupont Circle, MADabolic Dupont will operate under multi-unit studio owner Corbin Jennings.

The Dupont studio, located at One Dupont Circle, marks a new chapter in the MADabolic growth story. The larger-than-life window decals add a bold splash of MADabolic teal to the bustling Dupont neighborhood, and the studio is the brand’s first to have two training floors. “We are located between a dense residential area to the north and a busy commercial district directly to the south, which positions us nicely to be close to where clients live or work,” said Corbin. “The dual floors will be critical as office buildings continue to reopen, and we plan to offer classes on the half-hour during peak times, reducing waitlists and adding value for our members who live and work in this part of town.”

Earlier in December, Corbin opened his third MADabolic DMV location in Old Town Alexandria (VA), complementing his existing portfolio of studios in Clarendon (Arlington, VA) and D.C.’s H Street corridor. Managing multiple openings simultaneously has made for a lot of moving parts for Corbin. “There are 1000-plus moving pieces, so I’m mostly playing quarterback to make sure nothing falls through the cracks,” explained Corbin. Still, he is grateful for the structure MADabolic’s corporate team offers and the project manager he brought on to help with the openings. “The team has added structure and organization to this process, helping us stick closer to our timeline and budget than I could have managed otherwise.”

Corbin has committed to five more locations to come to the metro area in the coming years for a total portfolio of nine MADabolic DMV studios. As he sees it, MADabolic’s key differentiators are the programming and the high standards for trainers on the studio floor. “The strength-focused workout sets us apart,” said Corbin. “You don’t see other concepts doing this at scale, and that’s because of MADabolic’s emphasis on knowledgeable trainers who are qualified to coach technique and truly help clients progress in building strength. Our retention rates demonstrate the value this delivers for clients.”

MADabolic’s distinctive training system is crafted entirely around work-to-rest ratios, which presents a challenging-yet-accessible environment unique to each client. The concept’s programming offers clients a training system that uniquely commands a progressive and comprehensive approach to strength-driven interval training and aging athletically.

The MADabolic DMV team will host a “Free Week of MADness” to introduce the new Dupont studio to the city. For class times and membership information, visit https://www.madabolic.com/location/Dupont-Circle

In addition to a premium strength-biased training program, MADabolic is known for providing an excellent franchise partnership. The concept’s approach to franchising blends proven systems, robust training platforms, and extensive resources for owners. MADabolic offers a unique-to-the-industry human element to the fitness franchise space, setting MADabolic franchise owners up for success in any market.

The new studio in D.C. comes as MADabolic wraps up a booming December, with studio openings in Charlottesville (VA) and Alexandria (VA), news of a studio coming to Brooklyn (NY) by mid-2022, and new agreements to bring the concept to St. Petersburg (FL) and McAllen (TX). Additional locations are scheduled to open next month in several key markets, including Nashville (TN), Stamford (CT), and Silver Lake (TX). Ideal MADabolic franchise partners are driven and passionate individuals that members can look up to as role models, ranging from former elite-caliber athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts.
